Welcome to Lisa Hill Pilates

Lisa has been a fully qualified mat Pilates Instructor for 10 years.  Since March 2020, Lisa has successfully been running online Pilates classes for her clients.  She also has her own studio in Wokingham, Berkshire, offering face-to-face induction classes, 1-2-1 sessions and Pilates Classes for Older Adults. Lisa has over 20 years experience in the fitness industry and is also a qualified Personal Trainer. Most classes are mixed ability classes and Lisa prides herself on knowing all her clients individually. This is achieved through 2 induction classes (either in person or via Zoom)  before individuals can  join the community that Lisa has built up.  These sessions give Lisa the opportunity to really understand what the clients needs are, including any injuries, health issues or specific requirements. After a month of classes, Lisa runs a follow up session to ensure every client is getting the most out of  their Pilates classes. This bespoke approach ensures that Lisa is able to give personalised advice and guidance, even when the classes are run online.

She is committed to working with clients who are in rehabilitation or need more guidance and has a number of 1-2-1 clients who she sees on a weekly basis. These clients are often referred from Chiropractors and Physiotherapists who want their patients to attend Pilates classes to help with their recovery and Lisa is always happy to liaise with anyone working with an individual with a health issue to ensure they receive the best treatment for their condition. Lisa is also qualified to work with ante and post natal clients.

Lisa is passionate about Pilates and it is testament to her that most of her clients have been with her for as long as she has been teaching.

Ask Lisa:  The Q&A session on the third Wednesday of every half term, giving  you the opportunity to pop online and  ask a question about an exercise, stretch or something you want to discuss that relates to Pilates. I will be taking a break over the summer.  The next session will be on Wednesday 22nd September.
